Free Jonathan Cruz

I would like to welcome and thank everyone who takes their time to vist my website, but before I introduce myself I want you to know something: I have been unfairly prosecuted by an unjust system. Before I became just a number to the feds, I was a son, a brother, a father, a friend and an uncle. I didn't deserve the cards I was dealt but here I am five years later, still claiming my innocence and drawing strength to keep fighting my unlawful conviction.

First and foremost, my name is Jonathan Cruz, and I'm a Cuban-American. I speak both English and Spanish but if you're from Miami, you know we call it "Spanglish." I was born in the mid-80s and raised in the streets of Miami-Dade County. Before my incarceration I was lucky enough to be signed with the Modeling and Talent Video Production Agency in Miami, Florida, which films some of the best music videos (and also upcoming movies). If it is being filmed in Miami, then most likely Modeling and Talent is involved. As far as me being part of the entertainment industry, it honestly felt like a dream come true to be able to work with the best-known celebrities from all over the world. This is something I dreamed of growing up as a kid in this hopeless world. My dreams had finally become a reality and it was all thanks to Ms. Lashawana, CEO of Modeling and Talent. It was one of the greatest experiences working for her (and another agency). For a kid from Hialeah, to have the opportunity to taste the spotlight and be surrounded with the most famous people, the most positive vibes and the greatest energies was honestly amazing. I want to give special shoutout to Rihanna, T-Pain, Zoey Dollarz, Rick Ross, DJ Sam Sneak and Lil Wayne for handpicking me to be part of their productions.

Even though I find myself in this predicament today, I thank God for all the opportunities and blessings he has given me throughout the years. Without putting him first, I would be hopeless in this world. As far as how I ended up in this situation, my message to you all is this: Watch who you chose as friends because the people in your circle can be your biggest asset or your biggest liability. I say this because once you chose to be a people pleaser, you lose sight of who you are and where you are going. Today I am incarcerated because of the people I chose to surround myself with. I am honestly glad to be alive today because those same people that called themselves my "friends" planned to take me from this Earth, but God had other plans and so they didn't succeed. One thing I learned from all this is that God has a plan for all of us. All the trials and tribulations we face are for a reason. Be aware that not everyone has good intentions. I am sad to be telling this story about how I was betrayed by "friends," the justice system and even my own attorney. All I ask is for anyone visiting my website to keep an open mind. Much of what the government says about my case is not what it seems. God knows the truth, and hopefully after you read my story you will also know the truth.
